The Copper Queen Mine tour went way beyond our expectations and was well worth the admission. The tour guides were knowledgeable and very entertaining. You are outfitted with hard hats, mining flashlight and loaded onto a train to ride 1300 ft into the mine. You...More

Have a interest in mining and history, this was one of the best tours I have been on. Lots to see the way it was done in the late 1800’s. Little bit of walking but we’ll worth it. Our guide joe was great.

I was fearful that this tour would be disappointing like Tombstone. Bisbee and the Copper Queen Tour made it worth the long drive down. The guide was a older miner with lots of experience and proud of the work he had done. You really get...More

Tour guide Dave shared first-hand working knowledge of the mine in addition to the "basic facts." He encouraged and answered all of our questions.

One hour trip back in time. Make a reservation. Tour guide was a former mine worker who provided first- hand experience. Educational and enlightening.

No need for old clothes or shoes, you don't get dirty. Bring a sweatshirt as it's cold in the mines. Make sure you have a reservation, too. Enjoy!

I wouldn't recommend this tour for anyone who is unsure on their feet. The floors are uneven, with loose stoned and rock. There are some steps to climb and descend. It would not be safe or comfortable

we were there midweek, in april, and could make reservations for about 90 minutes later. all tours were full, so I'd say its best to make a booking, particularly if its high season.
