Fab experience.

Not to be missed experience that is fun informative and good value. Tours run by ex miners which makes it. Don't miss it.

Bisbee is a pretty little town and the mine is a very cool part of it. It is very interesting, but not for the claustrophobic. The little store attached to it has really cute souvenirs. Well worth a visit.

The tour was led by two former workers at the mine. Everything about the tour was great; from the staging, to the ride on the mine train, and all the stops and information in the mines. It's unbelievable what the early miners did.

Going into a mine with your gear on and getting your tag is an experience. Seeing how hard men labored. This is great for kids and adults. A must for anyone visiting. The men who run the tour are actual miners so they can answer any questions you have and they are a hoot.

Had a great time in the Queen Mine. Guides are very knowledgeable as they worked in the mine. Jim, our main guide, answered lots of questions and made it fun. Donnie kept us safe. Husband told them it was my birthday, so I had a special seat toward the end of the tour on the Sanitation Car!

My grandson and I took the Queen Mine Tour and left my husband topside as he is claustrophobic. We had a ball! The outfitting before the ride in is pretty awesome in itself. Each "miner" is outfitted with a reflective vest, miner's helmet, belt and flashlight. Then you get on the cart that takes you deep into the mine. We... More

Great way to see what copper mining was like. Riding the "carts" through the mine gives one a first hand experience into the daily life of a miner. Tour guides are very knowledgeable and were able to see how mining changed over the years at the Queen Mine. Some stairs to climb to view one of the discussion areas.

We enjoyed hearing interesting geology facts, seeing the mine equipment, and hearing about the daily operations and dangers of copper mine workers. The guides seemed very knowledgeable. One thing to point out: the mine is not a place where it's pleasant for anyone to have children around them misbehaving. Talkative little ones make it difficult to hear the guides, and... More

Our guide began working in the mine after he graduating from high school and worked there about 20 yrs (from memory). You get a light, hard hat and yellow vest (raincoat in colder seasons) and head down into the mine on a little tram. EIght billion The mine has been closed (for mining) since about 1975 but produced an estimated... More

This was an amazing tour. So much fun especially for kids as you put on authentic gear to go into the mine. Our guide had been a miner all his life and was just wonderful. You go down into the mine and actually get to walk around. If you have mobility issues this might not be for you. You do... More
