Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had such a great time seeing the glacier and seeing all the ice in the water because some came off the glacier the night before, and the crew were awesome. Thank you!!!

Getting up close to the glaciers and ice while seeing wildlife along the way made this trip memorable. The captain and crew were fabulous and we enjoyed the "educational" stories as well. This was worth every penny and we would highly recommend this to anyone. What a great experience!

This was a great trip. I highly recommend the Lazy Otter Charters. The smaller size made it very personal and Captain Charles was very personable & informative. The weather was not the best, rain & a bit cool, but in the cab of the boat, it was dry & toasty! I also took a tour on one of the larger cruise ships, but never again (too many people and very impersonal) .......I would do a return trip on the Lazy Otter Charters for sure and highly recommend a boat tour with them.

Mother Nature was not kind with wins and rain but our guide Wayne made the best of it and took us to some amazing sites to see both wildlife and glaciers. Even with the fog impairing visibility for glacier viewing we were so close it was still amazing. One of the highlights of our Alaska. Adventure.

Were unfortunate to have cruise cancelled due to high winds but were well looked after with an immediate refund and helped with rebooking another tour. Staff super helpful.

The tour was great. Even though the weather wasn't the greatest the views were still amazing, including the bears on the shoreline, sea otters and of course the glaciers.

Michelle the skipper gave great commentary and went outvofcher way to ensure we had a great experience.

When we got to docks it was raining and we weren't sure how good the trip would be. We were very pleasantly surprised. Wayne was our captain and O'Ryan was the co captain. They were very knowledgeable and made sure we had plenty of time for great pictures. Would love to retake the tour on a sunny day but it is great either way. Very nice heated boat with a great outdoor deck for Viewing.

We are not "tour" people. And I get motion sick really easily. So this was a stretch for my husband and me. But I am so glad we did it. The boat was super comfortable, the captain very kind and knowledgeable, and the two other couples friendly. The tour catered to our interests. And although the weather started out foggy, we still saw much more than anticipated -- otters, seals, sea lions, a salmon ranch, black bears, puffins and an extended time watching beautiful glaciers calve. A walk on a deserted beach was interesting, as I saw a sea star for the first time. I highly recommend the eight-hour tour. I was worried I would get tired or feel sick, but neither happened. It was a wonderful day, well worth the fee. And the lunch was terrific!

I was lucky enough to be able to go with while they released 3 Harbor Seal pups back into the wild. The Alaska Sea Life Center chartered Lazy Otter to take these beautiful babies back to their home. Everything was so professional and safe. I would highly recommend them for any wildlife and scenery tours.

We saw a ton of otters and sea lions plus four beautiful glaciers along with a couple hatcheries. A delicious lunch was provided for this eight-hour trip with all the tea and coffee you could drink. We only saw three other small vessels, so it truly felt remote and exciting. With full confidence in Captain Wayne, we learned so much about Prince William Sound without disturbing the wild animals or terrain. We were able to get out twice to explore some falls and beaches. Seeing the black rocks and cliffs up close was an exceptional experience.
