Thank you Leigh and our pilot Justine for a magical tour this morning. We chose the ‘Everything’ tour as it ticked all the boxes. As we live in Australia who knows when we’ll get back.

Many people have told us that after flying both places, they were blown away by seeing the Columbia glacier. The mountains and scenery around Prince William Sound are visually so stunning, I truly believe it is the prettiest place to fly in all of Alaska. It's just not as well known as Denali...yet. come see for yourself...you won't be disappointed!

Hello there Shirley,
While both the boat and the Helicopter offer a view of the Columbia Glacier, the helicopter offers an up close and personal experience while the boat often times is unable to get through the bay due to the ice that has calved off. From the boat, you will be able to see the 300 foot face, but not the vast expanse of the 28 mile long glacier. We land close to the face where you can walk around and play with the ice that has washed up on the beach. It is quite the experience to be able to look straight down the thousands of crevasses and see the magical blue pools....all within 2 hours compared to 6-9 hours on the boat.
I hope this helps answer your question!
