Owner description

Come and live a unique experience while in Bora Bora, French Polynesia!

Embark in a guided exploration of one of the Bora Bora lagoon reef onboard your own 2-seat open submersible/scooter. The scooters have an electrical propulsion and are autonomous thus not limiting you to a small diving area.

A typical dive will cover approximately 1.5 Kilometer underwater at a depth of 3-4 meters (12-15 feet) and will last 30-40 minutes. Our guide will stop along the way to allow you to observe the marine life up close.

During the briefing, our guide will teach you how to pilot and debrief you after the dive about the marine life you have. There is no need to be a swimmer or diver to enjoy the experience, anyone over 16 years of age can be a pilot!

Your head will stay dry in its glass bubble, you will breath as you would on the surface. You will be able to talk and share your feelings during the dive while sharing unforgivable moments.

The whole excursion will encompass:

1- FREE Pick up in Vaitape or at one of the Hotels base in our comfortable van.

2- Departure from the pier in Vaitape for a 15-20 minute boat ride to our marine base in the Bora Bora lagoon.

3- Briefing and dive, fresh fruits and refreshments afterward

4- You will then embark on a sightseeing boat ride with a stop to swim and snorkel before returning to Vaitape where you will then be picked up.

An optional video of your underwater tour is also available for sale after the dive. You are also encouraged to take your own underwater camera if you have one.

We have been operating the "scooters" for over 8 years with a perfect safety record. The "scooters" are engineered with a primary air source and backup, it is not possible to neither tilt during the dive nor run out of air.

OMG, this is THE most awesome experience ever! At first it was kind of scary going down, but once below, a new world opened up! We had about 2 hours worth of oxygen in our helmets. It felt like I was watching a Jacques Cousteau adventure on tv, but it was me!!! If you've never been underwater, can't swim, etc.,... More

We visited Bora Bora for one week and this was by far our favorite excursion. Our guides were wonderful - very entertaining and informative. The full tour is about 3 hours from the time you leave your hotel, until you return to the dock. But you're only underwater for about 30-40 minutes - just enough time! Worth noting: I'm mildly... This is a must do if you make it to Bora Bora. Pascal, Remy, Claudine, and the dude from Connecticut (I cannot remember his name) were outstanding. They pick you up from the hotel lobby, drive you to a speed boat, and then to the dock with the scooters. After a tutorial on how to drive the scooters...away you go.... More

We had no idea what we were in for, and it was the most incredible, fun activity we did while in Bora Bora! Thank you, Remy and Pasquale, for such a great time. This was so different from anything we have ever done. If you want to SCUBA but don't know how, this is your alternative. After getting into the... More

The aqua bike is a great way to see the undersea fish and creatures without being able to swim. The aqua bike allows you to sit in an "air bubble" and the fish and other creatures. The organisers give you a real treat as they attract the fish whilst you watch in relative comfort. A real treat if you visit... More

On each of three trips to Bora Bora we've booked the Aquabike Adventure and each experience has been more amazing than the last. The two person Aquabikes - one passenger drives, the other sits pillion and you progress at a gentle couple of knots - offer a unique chance to non- divers and people of all ages to see 'what... A whole new experience underwater in Aquabike. Your guide is Pascal takes you on a underwater exploration in a two person aquabike powered by compressed air. A plastic dome keeps you breathing normally. Worth the price and adventure

This was so much fun. The guys running it are really great. Easy instruction. You are situated on the "bikes" either single or as a couple, and off you go on a guided (silent) tour of the coral and lagoon bottom. The bikes are made to only go down 12-15 feet under the surface, so it's very safe. You control... More

We had heard from other travelers not to miss this, and it exceeded expectations. We were met at the dock by Pasquale, who drove us to a small platform in the middle of the lagoon, where we were met by Remy and Gilles. It was clear that they were very concerned that everyone have a safe and fun time. They... More
