If you want to have a nice walk or take the kids to the park, then this is the place. There is a cute little train for the kids near the ice cream shop and a great beach for young families.

Caroline Bay is incredible! Seals, penguins, an amazing beach, beautiful scenery really couldn't ask for more! Well worth a stop, great for a day trip, picnic or stay the night in self contained Campervan. A lot of effort has gone into creating this awesome place!...More

Nice place to have our lunch, we actually sat in the gardens before the beach, very clean and tidy. Nice setting and definitely a place to visit.

Yes. its all to do with extra sand arriving on the beach. It being sheltered by the harbour breakwater the sand settles there rather than being swept north
