Well worth a visit - great range of aircraft - gentleman on duty had top PR skills. A credit to the volunteers who operate it.
This place was way better than I thought it would be. I was surprised how much stuff they had there and the wonderful work they have done to restore things. It seems they are always adding to their exhibits and displays.
This Museum has a great selection of RNZAF jet aircraft around. The only jet trainer they do not have is a Strikemaster trainer.
People there were so friendly and you could go up and look in to the air craft... any one you want !!! This was by far a better experience than the one in Christchurch! My opinion only! There was stuff to do for everyone that...More
