Fantastic site with great views & Good Cafe

The site in general is an excellent position with beautiful views all around. Informative self guide visit with a good cafe nearby with excellent fresh cooked fish.

Interesting location and pretty drive to it, but ruins are very meagre and hard to get a good picture of the civilization there atm, It is a work in progress.

Liked the size and variety of findings. Not well checked and manage. Also not kept as cleen as other archeological sites around the Mediterranean, but worth a visit

As a devotee of the goddess Aphrodite - whose naked statue which once stood here was reputedly so compelling that a king offered to forgive the city's large debt in exchange for it (they refused - wisely so: since goddesses cannot be bartered) - coming here was something of a pilgrimage for my wife and I. You can access Knidos... More

Fantastic double amphitheatre and remains of the original Knidos port and temple. Takes a boat trip to get here but worth the effort. Avoid the local restaurant!

This was a really picturesque location. Absolutely lovely. It was not touristy at all and I really enjoyed the walk through the ruins. The local taverna was friendly, cheap and the beer was icy cold. Very pretty harbour.

We went there to show our family. Ancient remains at kingdoms, to see the gorgeous sunset over the lighthouse, and to visit the taverna by the harbour... We were not disappointed.. Good exercise..so wear trainers.. Two huge theatres, old Greek road with original slabs... Was divine. Go in the late afternoon for the sunset.. You will not be disappointed.. The... More

We moored there for lunch. It's a great well protected bay wit clear clean water for swimming. A great hike up the mountain among the ruins. Nice place for a stopover.

Ruins are lacking and leave a lot to the imagination, but the views are unbelievable and well worth the trip. If you are in Datca, a stop here is a must!

Ancient city with some excavated remains. Not ideal for the hot day but late afternoon. Best part is the sun set view from the city. You can also get closer to the lighthouse on top of the hill. It is a romantic place for a perfect sunset with a bottle of wine...
