Very clean, very nice beach! Food and drinks can be bought locally and there are public showers and restrooms. The umbrellas and daybeds are available for a small price, I recommend to bring e.g. an extra towel because the umbrellas are made woven material and do not protect fully from the sun.

We took a boat trip along the Dalyan River to Turtle Beach. The entire area is a protected wetland. A paradise for bird watchers. Along the way, we admired Caunos Tombs of the Kings in the rocky mountains. Since it was not yet the season, the beautiful, long, sandy beach was almost exclusively ours. The warm spring sun made possible for us to swim in the crystal clear refreshing sea.

Never changes, like it was years before. You feel lonely in the worls , only the waves , the blue and you with the sand. Besides there is a calm sweet water if you want to swim in a flat water.. There is only one cafe, not cheap not exprensive but if you want to drink beer, they do not sell. This is a negative point , why like that?? There should not be many cafes arounfd but if there is one, that must be satisfactory.

If you're staying near Dalyan there's no need to book an expensive trip to Turtle Beach. The ferry boats go regularly from near the mosque. A return ticket is 250TL (around £6) per person and you can come back on any of the hourly boats back (up to 19.30). The trip takes around 45 minutes and is stunningly beautiful, with fantastic views of the ancient tombs. The other option is to drive or catch a bus to the other end of the beach where the turtle sanctuary is. The beach itself is gorgeous but not enough sunbeds and shades when we went. The snack bars are fine but the one at the turtle sanctuary end doesn't take cash (card only).
