We tried to book this tour before leaving the US but they did not have availability during the first week of June, 2018. Viator told us to try booking upon arrival in Madrid. We called everyday but no answer. We open the Trip advisor site...More

It is really impressive, it is fun, it gives a wonderful view of region, and it was almost empty for tourists!

The walls of Avila gives one a unique perspective of this beautiful town. The optional audio tour is worth the cost, although the signage could use some reconfiguring to the audio track. The walls are also divided, but one ticket covers both entrances.

The medieval walls of this city remind one of Carcassonne in France—ensconced on a hilltop overlooking the countryside below. From the Cuatro Postes on the northwest side of town you can get a panoramic view of much of the city surrounded by its walls with...More

The magnificent medieval walls surrounding the town of Avila are a sight to behold. As one approaches them by road they are simply breathtaking. It is like stepping back in time. I visited the city associated with St. Teresa, the famous Carmelite nun and visited...More

We found this to be the highlight of our time in Ávila. Great views of the city and informative audio guides! Beautiful and serene, not to be missed.

A Gate 1 tour lunch stop between Madrid and Salamanca. The cathedral was cold and the convent was not open to see Teresa's finger. Lunch time was more than adequate. But need to get to a good vantage point to get picture of the walls.
