Clock tower ... it's just an old tower without so many things to see inside it except some pieces of furniture (not so many) and of course: the clock - an old mechanism which you can admire behind a windows. Very nice is the view of the old and new city of Sighisoara that you can have once you reach... More

You can't miss this tower when you are in Sighisora. There are 12 different statues in the tower, representing a different story. Unfortunately it was closed on Dec-25 and we could not enter the tower.

Build in the 14th century and expanded in the 16thcentury, the Clock Tower is one of Sighisoara’s main attraction points. It also hosts the History Museum - nothing out of ordinary, can be skipped to go to the top for great 360° views of the medieval town. Also, something worth seeing is the clock, with it’s beautiful wood sculptures, moved... More

The clock tower offers a good view from the above to see the scenery of the old city. It also indicate the distance from it to some big city around the world.

We climbed the clock tower, mostly for its view. It's actually quite the little history centre with many rooms full of old articles, a miniature town model and a lot of relics. Quite a few floors to go all the way up, but once you are at the top the view is worth it. It shows how small the historic... More

Sighisoara is a pretty citadel and the surrounding scenery is nothing to ignore either, so where better to get a good view of it all than the clock tower? You can see the inner workings of the clock as well on the way up. Don't bother with the museum - it's not very interesting and photos cost extra.

A step back in time, this clock tower stands proud. Inside are artifacts on each level accessible by steep stair cases. The view from the top is worth it
