The climb up a long tunnel of steps opens up to a beautiful. Most of the word and quotes in the church are in German reflecting the Saxon way of life and the impact in the area. The frescos are exquisite with sufficient remaining to...More

Lovely old non-denominational church. Due to its chequered history the church is no longer consecrated and is used as a museum and the occasional organ concert. The original school is also at the top of the hill and there is a cemetery at the back...More

It sits on the top of the hill within the citadel. It is a nice climb up some steps covered for some of the way. There are great views to the town ans surrounds below. This is a very solid church.

An interesting evangelical church with the cemetery along it. Good for a walk and good to cool as it is far colder inside in the summer. You have to pay to enter.

After climbing a million stairs, you need to pay an entry, nice church , not sure it’s worthy the payment. Nice views from the hill and interesting cemetery near.

Nice church at the top of the hill in the old town. You can walk all the way around the church. As far as church buildings go. Nothing special.

I don't know about the church, but the cemetery is my favorite place in Sighisoara. It is a green quiet place, with some very old tombs, and walking through it is very calming and beautifully. Not creepy at all, so give it a try.
