Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Section of the history museum of Sighisoara , the Museum of Medieval weapons can be very interesting for visiting for those of you who are into history and medieval warfare.
It is not extensive, in under 1 hour (30-40 min should suffice) you can get through, however in spite of size there some very interesting exhibits.
To give you 2 examples - you can expend your knowledge about king Vlad "the Impaler" Tepes and his connections to the city of Sighisoara.
You will learn about the general Michael von Melas, born in Roades, near Sighisoara, and the appreciation shown to him by none other than Napoleon Bonaparte after the Battle of Marengo.
So if you are interested in medieval warfare pay this place a visit , it is time and money well spent from my perspective ... enjoy.

It is a nice and interesting musem full of historical weapons. From my knowledge on ancient weapons, some information is misguided and it can be corrected.

Cool stuff to see out here and a lot of history to be discovered, you have a lot of weapons to see that have been used along the centuries

Branded outside as an armoury museum. It contains 4 small rooms filled mainly with display cases full of muskets. Very little armour and apart froma coupel of sabres few other weapons.
Bizarrely, the most interesting thing about it were the 2 glas cases containing matchboxes. You'd struggle to spend 15 minutes in here.
More expensive than the tower museum 20m away but much less interesting.

If you are interested in weapons it is a nice visit, otherwise you can skip it. The price is very cheap, 1,5 lei for students/others and 6 for adults.

Pretty small for a museum. It was OK overall, but not a must if you don't have enough time. We didn't regret the visit, but we also had the time for it.

An interesting little museum, with interesting weapons. You can visit it in something like 15-20 minutes.
