Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The plaza shops are completely closed with the only thing open one small cafe and the station for the funicular train. The train and then access to the cable car is the only reason you’d be here.

❤️ of Sapa Sun World, company providing Fansipan experience from buying ticket 🎫 to the top of mountain ⛰️ trains 🚂 cable car 🚠 food and snack on the top of roof of Indochina. Hotel 🏨 shopping mall in same place. You can buy ticket for Fansipan there and get on board if train 🚂 bringing you to cable car. Shopping mall is boring and limited choices. Most busy part is selling souvenirs from local people

Didn’t actually go!
Shut for a whole month. We was really excited for this and booked our trip to Sapa, changing our original plans!
Got to Sapa and our hotel advised us this was shut for a whole month due to maintenance.
Writing this review to help ensure people are aware. Others are attending Sapa without realising it’s shut!

Such a shame a month seems excessive, but is what it is.

Avoid heading to bar and coffee memory cafe - Regret giving the cafe a try. Food tends to be pricer than surrounding restaurant.

Basically, this is the place where you come to take the vertical train up to the cable car station. Just a handful of shops on ground floor selling souvenirs, clothes, etc. Most if not all shoppers seen here are probably "on the way shoppers" to take the train. Plus 1 or 2 small restaurants on 2nd floor. Very small mall, very quiet. Even on a Sunday.

Supposedly built by the Chinese, for Chinese tourists.

A real out-of-character building in the centre of town, next to Quang Truong Square and across from the Stone Church. It is not yet completed but will hold tourist stores and a supermarket. Some of those are already there and selling tourist 'tat'.

It serves one purpose for the discriminating tourist - it houses the funicular railway station to start your ascent up Mount Fansipan.

Other than that, best left alone.

Whilst it does attract a lot of people taking selfies in front of it, there is actually not much inside. It is the station to take the train to the cable car station and has some souvenir shops all selling the same stuff. I guess it is up to personal taste, but that monstrosity should have never been built right smack in Sapa.

The view outside is very beautiful. It is decorated like a royal palace with an old fashion. Really nice to come.

Probably the most beautiful building in Sapa that includes Sun World shopping mall, Sapa Station and the only 5 stars hotel in Sapa : Hotel de la Coupole - MGallery by Sofitel
Right in the center of town, next to the stone church, zooming across the square, you will see a brand-new building named Sun Plaza Sapa . The building with French architectural style standing right in the middle of the intersection,. With classic golden colors and large glass windowsit has brought an extremely artistic and eye-catching work in the center of town.Entering inside Sun Plaza Sapa , you will be more surprised when you see a large and strange space with architectural style and décor quite simple but extremely attractive.
On the ground floor , It's Sapa Station . where you can buy tickets to go to Fansipan Legend or to climb Muong Hoa by train. The station is an extended hallway with dim, mysterious lights, very beautiful ..
On the 1st floor , Sun World is a commercial center just put into operation not long ago, though not yet completed , attracting tourists and also a new virtual living place for young people. Quelques magasins interesssants ..
The left side of the building is a perfect beauty with natural light, the corridor is luxurious
You will go from one surprise to another when you step inside this interesting building.
