Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Tay An Temple seems to cover every imaginable aspect to non-christian/judo religion...Islam, Hindu, Taoism, Buddism, etc. While the temple is very eclectic, it also is not particularly well maintained...cobwebs on statues, dirt/dust everywhere, offerings not attended to. We've traveled to a lot of temples and historically, rich or poor, the temples are well looked after. If you're in Chau Doc and want to stop by for a while...great. But I definitely wouldn't travel out of my way to get to this temple.

We were travel on a river cruise on the Mekong River so had some distance to cover to see this temple. On arrival at Victoria Chau Doc we were able to use the facilities at the very nice hotel there before being transferred by coach to the Temple. The temple was Indian and Islamic style architecture. It was possible to stand and watch people praying to their chosen god and being blessed by the monks. It was incredibly hot inside the temple. Outside in the garden there are brightly coloured statues of the Indian gods. The temple is in a nice town with plenty of local goods for sale.

There is a colorful pagoda in a frequented crossroad at the bottom of Sam mountain. Outside beautiful, inside nothing special. Full of local people taking test in the park and wanting to sell the scooter services.

I stared walking from here to visit Tay AN pagoda and made my way to Chua Xua temple
Very impressive temple with many statues. Understand about Khmer architecture and Vietnamese.
