It is easy to bypass this shop as it is set back a bit and on a curve in the road. But situated next to bustling and holistic Oka's Bakery and Cafe. Beautiful workshop to learn jewelry making with a team of experienced local talents. Jewelry shop to admire and purchase covetable pieces of jewelry and gifts. Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful time making a ring at Alaia. I'm very proud of the finished product which is such a symbolic and personal souvenir of my time in Bali. Highly recommend!!

Although I did not participate to the workshop, I did however fall in love with the various jewelry exposed at the shop. Each totem has a distinctive signification, and the artists were very patient in explaining them all to me. Taking the painful decision of which animal token to buy, I made up my mind to choose a bear, a... More

We learned SO much in one 3 hour session & I'm so proud of the rings I made. Ayu, Wase & Jono were insightful & made us feel like family❤️ The studio is funky & inspiring. I highly recommend this activity for personal gifts or just to learn the art of jewelry making😋👍🏼💍

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our three hours at the intro silversmith course and ended up making 2 silver rings with our own designs. They turned out much better than we anticipated given our lack of skill and that is the first time we've done anything like this before! At first we were a little unsure about how the process worked,... More

My boyfriend and I just walked into the store one day and asked if we could do a course as we didn't have a phone. Surprisingly they had space and so we made rings for each other. The silversmith and Ayu helped us making and creating it and where very relaxed which gave it a nice atmosphere. They explained what... More

They say workshop to it, but it is more a "fight and ask yourself through a process" the first question was: "have you thought about how your ring should look like?" we really had no idea what is possible for us to do or what kind of rings can be made on a beginners level. there you learn nothing about... I was a little disappointed with the silversmith class as we were not told that you had to pay extra from the silver you use until after we had made our pieces. There was also little instruction on tools, techniques etc. The woman running the class spent most of her time speaking to her workers in Indonesian and not assisting... More

We spent the morning at the workshop, my husband and i made a ring for each other, We designed the rings that we wanted to make, getting ideas from the internet, the end result was better than we thought, we had help from the silversmith, who was very patient and explained what we needed to do. You can see the... More
