The place is good for walks and people watching. There are always people doing TaiChi, group dancing, roller blading or practicing their vocal talents. There is a small amusement park during the summer. Unfortunately the park does not allow dogs.

This park is best visited in the summer. You can take a picnic, rent a boat, watch the Chinese people do some traditional dancing, get some ice cream (¥4) and go on a roller coaster. It's not expensive either!

We live in tianjin. We love this park, as it is beautiful surrounded by lakes, swans, ducks. You can ren a little boat (note that closes around 16h), go to the zoo (not our favorite one), make picnic (dont mind all chinese starring). Recommend on choosing regular days, as on weekends there are a lot of little buses to go... More

We went there to see this big famous park of Tianjin! It was beautiful! We did not walk around so much because of the hot weather, but we got to see the whole park from the Ferris Wheel they have at the theme-park area. The park was clean and full of pretty flowers. Too bad they don't have any cafetaria... More

There is written in the description at the entrance of this park that this is one of the most beautiful scenic spots in China. Don't believe it. China has much more to offer. This is just one of the parks you can see anywhere in China. But it does not mean that it is not worth visiting. Once you are... More

A gem of the city, an oasis of the industrial area. Whichever way you call it, it's true to itself. It's a playground for both the young and old, men and women. Local residents, especially the retirees like "damas," like it a lot, because it's also free to the public. The park dates back to the early 1950s when it... More

This is one of my favorite places to go to in Tianjin. Also known as the water park, it is a great place to take the family, lots of rides for the kids, and water spouts for them also. plenty of space for a picnic, and large enough to have a company get together. Weather you go for yourself, or... More

A lovely expanse of green and waterways. Eleven islands connected together by walkways and bridges, great sightseeings and an impressive collection of flowers and trees. I visited the zoo as well before and was pleased with the tour. A must see in Tianjin.
