I was in Tianjin for a day and decided this was the attraction I wanted to see the most. When I arrived in Tianjin, I took bus 462, thinking it would take me to the park in a while. 1 hour later, I was still on the bus! The whole journey by bus 462 took about 1 h 15 min.... More

I was there a few years ago. Got to experience a party/rave on the carrier. One of the coolest experiences as you can drink and party beside some jet fighters and cannons.

We knew this would be a somewhat wackadoo experience, and it did not disappoint. We hired a car and driver to take us out here from downtown Tianjin - well worth the expense. I've been to several other aircraft carrier museums, and this was no different, except for the Russia part, which made it kind of awesome. Kids loved the... More

This place is bizarre. If you like your Russian aircraft carrier theme parks in China lined with little dinosaurs, kiddie rides, closed buildings and attractions, an American country music show passed off as a Russian music show, than this place is for you! Really, I encourage people to try it out, but go early in the day because the one... More

I'm not sure whether this is owned by Russians or Chinese, but suffice to say it's a Russian theme park built in China around a Russian Aircraft Carrier. As soon as you approach, you can see the Disney design influences but it like some parallel universe where things are not quite right. A walk down Main Street in Disneyland, for... More

The whole Theme Park is very odd, lots of Russians cutting around - some very very beautiful! There are military vehicles, kids rides, water rides, shows and the carrier. The shows are actually very good and totally worth seeing. The carrier is fascinating, I really enjoyed walking around it especially the nuclear missile magazines and small aircraft hanger. It's not... More

During my last week in China in February 2012 (I've tagged the date as 03/14 because this is earliest it would allow) we went out for a drive and my partner took me here because of my military background. First impressions as you leave the main road were mixed with a mixture of old military vehicles to look at along... More
