I stumble upon this temple during my visit to the Tianjin Eye. It is hidden in the middle of tall skyscrapers. There is also barely any English description from afar that indicates that this could be a tourist spot. The only clue is just a arch with some Chinese captions and an ancient red building in front of the arch.... More

Nice grounds and architecture. A bit of history mixed with new sculptures of Buddha placed around garden grounds.

I happened to stay at the Holiday Inn hotels nearby and found this on a morning walk. A nominal entry fee is levied. Believers worship with the usual incense sticks. The place is also undergoing renovation. The Buddha statues are giant size and the temple is clean and the monks are maintainng this well. A few hawkers found outside. In... More
