Wanghailou Church (Wang Hai Lou Jiao Tang) Wanghailou means ‘sea view tower’. By the Haihe River, next to the Shizilin Bridge, and near the Mazu Temple stands this Catholic church. It's amaizing that after weathering through the huge political chaos in China for over a century the church remains unchanged. It's interesting to find non-typical buildings in chinese cities. An interesting Church on the bank of the river. Enjoy walking around on a sunny day.

Another Catholic church designed by Frenchman during the occupation era. Just as the name implies, "sea view towers", it is situated towards the Haihe River that flows all its way to the Bohai Sea.
