The ladies that gave us a tour were very knowledgeable. We love to go to little museums all over the country and this has been one of the best. Defiantly worth a visit.

We toured this amazing piece of history. The gal narrating was a joy to listen to. The buildings were close enough together that was still a nice walk even in the drizzly weather.

Soldotna is a three hour drive South of Anchorage. Closest train gets to Soldotna is Whittier, I believe. You would need to rent a car or take a bus from ANChorage.
