We were blown away by our experience at the Reindeer Farm. First, the location is stunningly beautiful, and being a farm, there was so much to see while we waited for our tour to begin. Ironically, it wasn't just our children that were entertained, but we adults as well. We learned all kinds of interesting reindeer facts that have been... More

I went to the reindeer farm on Christmas Eve for a beautiful (small) family wedding. They were very accommodating and even brought a reindeer inside the barn for photos! The scenery is breathtaking, while standing at the (fairly large) fire pit an eagle flew straight over head putting on a beautiful display! This is a must see while in town.

We were there in August of 2016, the kids and I enjoyed feeding the reindeer babies and the larger deer with greens right from our mouths. There was a hand wash station at the end of the tour, and an essential shoe and boot cleaning place walking through their penned areas we picked up organic fertilizer on our shoes and... More

The Reindeer Farm is not a bad way to spend an afternoon. It's situated in a lovely valley with great views of the mountains. The staff is energetic and friendly. Kids and adults alike will learn plenty about the various animals.

Each Christmas that we spend in Alaska, we make sure to stop by the Reindeer Farm. My husband and I take our 5 year old daughter as well as 70+ year old grandma for a fun outing. Recommend: sensible shoes for walking into the pen with the reindeer as well as around the facility. Land is flat so walking is... More

Great spot where they educate you about the reindeer population, and let you mix with the heard. They allow you to feed the reindeer from your hand, but make sure you go early in the day or the reindeer are too full from previous tours. Thought this would be a quick stop - but they are pretty slow and ended... More

The reindeer farm offers an excellent tour. Each guest is given a small container of food to give to the reindeer, who gather around and eager eat what is offered. They do a good job of keeping it fun for kids while also offering education to those interested on how reindeer are bred and their relation to caribou. It's a... More

I went to the Reindeer Farm for the Pumpkin Patch event they were hosting. I was very pleased with everything! I was there with my 8 month old and he was fascinated with all of the animals but mostly the hay in the pumpkin patch! (Haha) I was hesitant about going because I was worried about the crowd but it... More
