As a short working citizen, I find it very difficult to pet these majestic beasts of Santa's world. I am too short and the height of myself cannot change, as I am an elf. Please supply more stools that are not only used for children's...More

We went here twice to show off the reindeer to family and had a great visit each time. The reindeer are very friendly and easy to feed and enjoy. The farm is in a beautiful setting in the Matanuska Valley. You will be able to...More

I have been to the reindeer farm many times as we have been taking all our visitors from out of state here for years. It is always a hit! It is a working family farm so, of course, expect some mud, poop and weather, and...More

It breaks my spirit to see some of the comments below. I am not sure what people expect from a farm, but I expected a little mud, a little poo, and a lot of animals that I could see up close and possibly even interact...More

We all loved this stop! We learned a lot about reindeer and even got to feed them! We also fed elk and met Rocky, their abandoned moose. The tour was fun and educational.

If you really like animals, don't go there! This is not a really animal farm. If your guide says to you, they do that just to earn money for living.. it's everything you need to know. Animals don't treat well. It costs 9$ for nothing!...More

I'm sorry you feel that way. Yes, we do tours to pay for the animal feed. We are only open for tours for a few months a year. The tour income helps cover the cost of having employees and paying for the animal feed costs,...More

This is not a "farm" it is a shameless petting zoo. However, if you are traveling with kids (or you are a big kid) who gets their kicks by feeding animals pellets in messy pens, then you'll love this place. A "guide" who was more...More

My family visited this place on our way driving to Denali in August 2017. It is a nice place to make a stop and feed reindeers.
