Great place to visit as to gain an insight into the history of Ketchikan from the native inhabitants, prospectors to the settlers and everyday life at the turn of the century until now. Highly recommend.

We visited the museum on a walking tour of Ketchikan. It is very close to the cruise ship terminal. The exhibits are very well displayed and contain a lot of historical information. We were able to get great insights into Native American culture as well...More

Within walking distance to cruise ships. Open daily, free and on the Creek Street board walk. It's free.

The location was easy to get to. Once inside, you can probably walk through the exhibit in about 20-30 minutes. Very informative discussion with the staff at the front desk. Some nice photos of days gone past. Actual tools and pieces of local history preserved...More

Military get in free which was nice. I loved the the photos and artifacts they had in the museum. I found them all entertaining and educational.
