If your expecting to see wildlife, this isn't for you. It's a boat ride to Misty Fjord. Lunch was included but the food wasn't something we would eat. That doesn't mean it wasn't good, just means it's not what we usually consume. There was a...More

The Misty Fjords National Monument is a must see while in town. Use your National Park Service membership for savings. Instructional films shown every 20 minutes are well done and worth seeing. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We took a seaplane tour of the Misty Fjords National Park. It is some of the most breath-taking vistas I have ever experienced.

We had a gloriously clear and sunny day for our flight (apparently quite a rare thing in one of the world's wettest towns). Fabulous scenery and wonderful views. we landed on a small lake. For a Brit, whose idea of wilderness is being a mile...More

We took this trip on a boat, because 20 years ago we intended to go on a plane and the clouds were so low the excursion off our cruise was canceled. We had an awesome time. The view was tremendous.

Misty Fjords is beautiful. We were anchored there in the morning when we woke up. Calm, mirror-like water, mist on top of the mountains. We were on a small ship (40 passengers) and some people were able to kayak and... More

There is a way. Certain times during the season, outfitters from Ketchikan, Alaska offer "tourist for a day" pricing which is significantly lower than normal fares... keep your eyes on Ketchikan papers!!
