Juneau Wildlife Whale Watching & Mendenhall Glacier

319 reviews
Enjoy the best of Juneau's nature and wildlife on this unforgettable half-day tour. Be amazed by the 13-mile (21-kilometer) Mendenhall Glacier, and take to the water on a whale-watching cruise. As well as humpback whales, there's a good chance of spotting bald eagles, blue heron, and other animal and bird life. This is a must-do activity for travelers who appreciate the grandeur of nature.

This is a beautiful place to visit all year long. Picturesque. The visitor's center is closed, but the trails are open.

Easy hike (gravel all the way) and ends with a great view of the glacier and falls. You can walk right up to the falls and the roar of the water is so intense! Don't miss this trail.

We took a quick walk to see the falls. They were beautiful. The visitor center was closed due to Covid 19, but the falls were amazing. We could also see the glacier from the falls.
