Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went on 10/17/2023 and the experience was Fabulous. We had three people on board who were all captains. One was also our nature guide and was very informative. we say a bunch of whales and the boat was a pleasure to ride in. I would recommend this to anyone who is going to Alaska. I compliment the staff enough.

This is a fantastic option for a family. We were able to see many whale including a mother and her pup. The crews naturalist was Brock. He is very energetic and likable. Make sure you give it a try.

What a great crew and a great time. These folks know where the whales are and will make sure you see lots of them. Capt Justin along with Jeremy, Bonnie, & Lilly showing us over 15 humpbacks, seals, and glaciers!

Whale watching tour - very disappointing. I thought, for $159 per person, I was going on an actual boat with a relatively small group. Nope... Enclosed catamaran with 200+ people for 3+ hours. Advertised that the tour included snacks and the use of binoculars. They used covid as an excuse not to provide either, yet the price didn't change, and I wasn't notified before the cruise. I could have brought my own binoculars, had I known they weren't providing them. Definitely not worth the price. Yes, we saw wildlife and a whale's tail, but I saw a whale from my balcony on the ship for free. This tour was overhyped and waaaay overpriced.

Went out with Luke, Aaron and crew and had a fabulous time searching out the great humpback whales. Saw several and got close. Also saw a first season calf and mother.

The crew was knowledgeable and quick to point out interesting facts about whales and wildlife as well as having a keen eye to spot them. The captain was able to get close enough for amazing photos and whale watching. There was a naturalist onboard to educate and answer questions. The crew was very friendly and welcoming. The vessel was large enough with plenty of seating and railings for everyone to get amazing views. I would highly recommend this trip if you want to see whales up close!

A superb experience! The number of times you get to watch the water spouts or the beautiful tails of whales once the boat arrives at the spot for whale-watching is not funny! The view of sea lions is an added bonus. Plenty of opportunities for photos along the way - lovely view of the sea, island and mountains in the background! Alaska at its quintessential best!

We took the excursion to do the Whale Watching and Wildlife Quest. We bored the boat and off we went. We got to see over 8 humpback whales, eagles, porpoises sea Lyons and seals. The whales came up just 20 feet from our boat. The trip was definitely worth the money to us. The captain, naturalist and crew did a great job showing and explaining the habits of the wild animals in the area. Highly recommended this excursion.

We went on the whale watching and wildlife tours while on a cruise to Alaska. We saw many, many whales and the natural commentator was great about explaining the bubble netting.
