I've gone twice this year and just love this place. Amazing variety of plants, flowers, vegetables, trees, and so much more. Looking forward to another visit to see changes and what else is blooming!

lovely gardens, amazing plants for such a short spring/summer/fall season. Self-guided tour, plants are mostly well-labeled. View from the garden of a lovely pebble beach and small bay. The original owner/gardener was a lucky, intelligent, and talented person!

This arboretum was an absolute delight and a must for all serious gardeners. A lot of well maintained native plants next to a magnificent grove of old growth forest.

I had no idea of the verdant gardens of Alaska. This was both beautiful and educational. So many varieties of plants and flowers - arranged and displayed. Worth the visit - Free!

....or an oasis in Eden? Either way it's a labour of love and should be visited. The vision and determination to create (and maintain!) the arboretum is humbling. Kids can play on the beach while grown-up look at plants. Contains reserve collections. Favourite flower: Dhalia...More

Stopped here and was so impressed by the beautiful garden. If you like flowers, plants, beautiful settings, quaint gardens stop here. This garden is on the water and has a beach. This garden is free but you can make a donation.
