We provide guided bear viewing trips into Katmai and Lake Clark National Parks. We will ensure an intimate experience into the wilderness as seen in the Disney movie "Bears". We usually limit our groups sizes up to six, but can accommodate larger parties.

Our guided trips depart Beluga Lake in Homer and Lake Hood in Anchorage. You will enjoy an incredible sightseeing flight (45-90min) over the "Ring of Fire" volcanoes, glaciers, and wilderness in route to where the bears are most numerous. We provide hip waders, snacks, water, and light rain gear.

Our trips start at $599 a person.

Note: Guests need to be capable of walking several hundred yards in sand and mud.

Bear Viewing Silver Salmon Creek

The Bear Viewing Tour was really nice with a small group and 11 bears in a beautiful landscape. In any case recommendable.

Martin is a first-rate pilot and guide, a real pro. he goes out of his way for customers in every respect, and he also knows Alaska and the bears. In short, you cannot do better.

Where do I begin? With 6 people in our party, Charlie (our EXCELLENT pilot) had to make two flights to take us all out to see the bears. My 2 daughters and I were the first group to fly, with my husband, and our 2 friends, in the second group. As Charlie was doing a final plane check, and we... More

We couldn't fly out because of the wind. Well we have no influence on the weather and safty has priority. But we asked him to call us in advance, what he didn't do. He didn't even pick up the phone when we tried to call him. In the end he let us show up 4 times until we asked for... More

Dear Sanrole, Very sorry to hear you were delayed repeatedly due to poor weather. You are correct in that safety is our first priority. Please understand that there is a bit of a scramble on weather days as we are trying to get everyone re-booked and juggling lots of folks vacation plans. Again sorry we did not keep you more... Skilled pilot, excellent bear viewing, beautiful landscape, all in all a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this as a once in a lifetime chance to see bears in their natural habitat.

Charlie was very informative, congenial, respectful of the wildlife and it was amazing to see the bears, the volcanoes, the scenery was breathtaking. The tides were a challenge for landing that day, but Charlie is an excellent pilot. Just to see the power of these remarkable animals. I had to pinch myself to believe I was there. As an amateur... The bear seeing adventure was awesome! Charlie ensured everyone had a good time and learned about the habits of the bears. He was so good at what he did that one was immediately put at ease when daring something like this. He was an awesome pilot and it was one of our favorite adventures in Alaska. We would recommend this... More

We went with Tim on a terrible foggy day to Lake Clark NP to see bears. He tried to go to another spot with us but the fog was just to dense and we ended up at this beautiful place and saw lots of brown bears. He was very knowledgeable and could answer all questions that occurred. We felt very... More

We stopped by Charlie's office to inquire and ended up scheduling a tour. I don't like to fly but felt instantly comfortable with Charlie. We flew through beautiful terrain and spotted dozens of bears from the air. After landing, there were 22 bears within fairly close proximity to us. My husband is a photographer and we were able to get... More
