The tram from the Alyeska Resort to the top of the ski mountain includes breath taking panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. We were there in early June and there was still some snow at the peak. The surrounding larger mountains were all snow covered....More

Tram gives access to beautiful hillside scenery. Bore Tide restaurant at top of tram was a little pricey, but not unreasonable for a resort/destination eatery. Small gift shop stocking some interesting and high quality local art items along with nick-knack style goods too. V&MC no...More

The tram usually costs too much to just ride up. it is not included with your expensive room rate, however if you are dining at the restaurant at the top, the ride is included.

The views from the top were awesome! We travel extensively, and this was the best by far. Even though we don't ski, the experiance was magnificent. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Our tickets were free because we had a reservation for dinner at Seven Glaciers but you can take the tram only. In addition to the restaurant there is a cafe and bar up there which is open all day. I highly recommend.

Also if you hike to the top via the North Face Trail, you get a free ride down. It's a bit of a strenuous hike - 2.2 miles and lots of switchbacks.
