Given the marine reserve, it's a great location for snorkelling. Simple access, although we did notice a line of algae through before you get out to the abundant coral.

we hired some gear across the road and went for our first snorkelling experience. it was fantastic, lots of fish and coral to see. and such an amazing magical feeling under the water.

Not sure- we rented snorkeling gear for our whole trip- it’s a lot more convenient and less expensive that way.

Booked through a company called Pure Traveller they are gold coast bases but very good travelled Air New Zealand direct to rarotonga stayed at Rarotongan Beach Resort and Spa would recommend this hired a car from Raro... More

I would recommend you go to your local dive shop, all you will require are snorkelling fins, mask and snorkel. To make your experience pleasant try on different masks etc and you will be set for many years. My wife and I... More
