This has got to be the place where they take the photos of classic South Pacific beaches and lagoons. The colour of the water looks like its been photoshopped! Calm water and lots of pretty fish make snorkelling an amazing experience. If this isn't on your bucket list, it should be. If you cannot stay overnight on Aitutaki then splurge... More

Aitutaki,or as we call it the "land that time forgot" My wife and I have been travelling to this island many times in the last 7 years, and if you can't relax here, then maybe only Prozac,or Valium may help! We always stay for at least a week, don't go there if you are looking for swank restaurants or nightclubs,as this really does... More

The view through the aircraft window is the first indication of what you are about to experience, the brochures do not prepare you for the reality of Aitutaki. Island time to winds back even further as you step off the plane as we were greeted by our hostess Dr Jenny with a perfumed lae at the airport. We found a... More

This place is amazing - photos, postcards, pictures and anything else just don't do it justice. The differing blues you see between the shallow (crystal clear) parts, to the deeper parts and the sea beyond - mixed with the bright blue sky is something you think you'd only see in movies. The sand is as white as anything and very... More

We were staying in Rarotonga and took a side trip to Atutaki. It took an hour in a tiny prop plane . We landed on a recently tarmaced coral runway that had been hand built during WW2 .There was a wooden shed at the end with the sign Welcome to atutaki international airport . Some of the people on our plane... More

Paradise its only world how to describe this lagoon. I don't think I saw something as beautiful as this place. Lagoon cruise is a must, while in Aitutaki!

It is just wonderful to visit the islands dotted around the lagoon and to swim and explore. It is an idyllic part of the world.

Rarotonga has crystal clear waters, but Aitutaki is clearer!!! You have to see it with you own eyes! Highly recommend a visit to the Aitutaki Lagoon.

The warmth and crystal clear waters of this lagoon words cannot really describe. The highlight of our trip was the Vaka lagoon cruise. They provide everything including towels snorkelling gear and a fantastic bbq luch. The large spacious boat was easy to get on and off. Highly recommend.

We stayed at accommodation right on the beach and loved everything about the lagoon. Snorkling was like being in an aquarium just amazing...
