My husband and I were staying at Le Tahaa and saw boats of people coming in everyday to visit the Coral Garden which is basically right off the pool of the resort, so we knew we had to check it out. I have snorkeled all...More

It’s hard to find such a vast coral garden so close to a resort room. You can reach it swimming from your overwater bungalow in literally less than 10 minutes. So well preserved and easy to access it makes this attraction simply unique. Make sure...More

There were a ton of fish and beautiful coral. Drift snorkeling was a unique experience for us and was very easy to do. The current is stronger on some days depending on how windy it is. The key is to walk all the way up...More

The coral gardens and the fish are very beautiful, but the current in between the two motus/islands is very, very strong. You hardly have to swim, but the coral is so very close to the surface that avoiding them is very difficult - you can't...More

If you stay at the Taha'a Resort, this is walking distance, and the current takes you through the garden, which is great for ease of swimming. The variety is a lot with corals and fish and a guide can give you all the details. There...More

The coral gardens are incredible. If staying at Le Taha'a you should cross over to the motu across the channel, walk towards the open sea area at the end and then get in. When you do be careful because that's where the current is strongest....More

Not too many fish. Current is too fast. Is to get scratched by corals. Better to snorkel towards the end of the drift zone.

We kayaked to one of the surrounding motu next to the coral garden from the main island of Tahaa. From here we walked along the motu to the outer edge of the lagoon and got into the water, where you can follow the current with...More

Snorkelling is free in the Jardin de Corail. All you need is for your hotel to get one of their staff to take you there by boat. Ps: it's so beautiful I spent 2 hours there!
