Long slow hike up the winding mountain road. Moderate fitness level needed. It has rained every time I have walked or ran the road. It can be slippery on the way down, breathable sneakers not hiking shoes are best because of the heat factor on...More

If on Moorea, you might as well go up there. It was the trailhead for our hike to 3 Coconuts Pass (a much better view!). I would like to have had time to walk through the archeological site on the road up, but first priority...More

It was a cloudy day and views were a little hard to see but nonetheless a great stop along your sightseeing way. We rented a car and drove up. We took a few pictures and left. If your pressed for time, skip this attraction and...More

It was just ok. I have been all around the world and there are better lookouts. We rented a car to drive around the island and it was VERY EXPENSIVE for 5 hours. It was raining lightly when we were up at the Belvedere. It...More

We took a drive up - the road is narrow and winding, but in good shape. Drive carefully and you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the mountains and the bay. We went up on a rainy, cloudy day, and the mists on...More

I highly recommend taking a trip up to Belvedere lookout. It is a beautiful view, if you can visit on a clear day. We rented a car for the day, and toured around on our own, and went up to the lookout. A great photo!...More

We had this view as part of our tour. It is a good road and an amazing view of the two bays. There was nothing to dislike.

A nice drive up to the Belvedere Lookout. I would have loved to have gone for a walk to discover much more. Great views from the lookout and well worth visiting

Super easy to get to (if you have a car), I would not recommend biking up this unless you're a beast. Road was recently paved with lots of pull over spots to see the old temples along the route. Lookout was gorgeous, lots of profile...More

This is truly a scenic overlook. You are able to look toward Mt. Rotui and see both the Opunohu and Cook's Bay. The road is very well maintained and at least a scooter is needed to make the incline.

In my opinion i would say it's to far to walk. In fact it would be a very expensive taxi ride. I would call them and ask about a shuttle.
