It is a well maintained and clean park where one can just walk about or just sit, relax, and chill out.

I only visited the Parque Braulio Carrillo by the side of the Barba Volcano. The road it is not that good but it has very nice trekking trails. It worth to visit it.

The aerial tram was so peaceful! We only saw an eyelash viper, but I would still recommend it!! There was a tour afterwards through butterfly garden and snake and frog exhibits that I could have done without. I think if we didn't have the kids...More

We totally missed the entrance to the park. There was no roadsign. Because the road goes uphill trucks go very slow. There are 3 lanes, but strangly enough always 2 lanes are going down and 1 up.

The drive along Hwy 32 through Braulio Carrillo rain forest is worth it, especially if you do not have the time or ability to take a closer look.
