The aerial tram was so peaceful! We only saw an eyelash viper, but I would still recommend it!! There was a tour afterwards through butterfly garden and snake and frog exhibits that I could have done without. I think if we didn't have the kids with us, I would try to do the hiking but I'm not sure if that's... More

The park is beautiful and the sights along the beaches are amazing. You can spot some animals if you are lucky, but not as many as I have expected. The entrance to the park is complicated and ineffective. You have first buy the tickets in a building which is not near the gate and than stand in line in front... More

We totally missed the entrance to the park. There was no roadsign. Because the road goes uphill trucks go very slow. There are 3 lanes, but strangly enough always 2 lanes are going down and 1 up.

It is a wild and huge park (more than 20 km). There are a couple of walkable trails and in one of the main entrance you can enjoy a zip line allowing to have an incredible perspective of the park

The park entrance is found just off highway 32. There are 3 trails, 2 of which are fairly easy to navigate and are roughly 2.5km combined, the third is 2.5km and the terrain is a bit rough in spots. It's not a very popular park with tourists, so if you want to wander through the jungle alone, this is the... More

It is absolutely beautiful forest. They have Tourist attractions like zip line and gondolas. If you go on the gondola trip. You zoom through the forest, which is simply spectacular. We spotted several birds, their nests, little animals and amazing trees that we never saw in our lives.

Picked up from hotel in La Sabana area of San José. The park is about an hour away from San José. Passed by coffee plantations on the way to the park. Given a tour, nature trail that is paved. Awesome spread of Costa Rican food. Had the option of a sky gondola or zip lining, opted for the latter and... More

The drive along Hwy 32 through Braulio Carrillo rain forest is worth it, especially if you do not have the time or ability to take a closer look.

Ok, everyone in Costa Rica will tell you you're in the real Jurrassic park, BUT because of the pure size of Braulio you can really get into the jungle and feel its true size and feel. Great example of untouched nature.

Some ranger stations along the main road through the park, where hiking trails start; we would have expected more places where you can stop to look at the surroundings; meeting of two rivers under a bridge is fascinating. I don't think you need to plan an entire day for this park, the hiking trails weren't that different from trails in... More
