If you want a nice place, good trekking and relax environment you must go to Laguna Barva. I went with my wife & baby boy ( 1.5 y/o) and we could enjoy this place. It is moderate level to walk. If you go there you...More

Great stop in the middle of the jungle. It has a ranger station with WC, drinking water and advice of what to search for. We strongly recommend to avoid the upper part of the park as we visited it 3 times and didn´t see a...More

Drove though on a way to an activity. Did not have time to stop and hike but the scenery driving through was beautiful.

We enjoyed getting close to nature and taking the tram ride. It took -1/2 hours on the ride. Difficult for someone suffering from a bad back, but very beautiful. We also saw the Butterfly Conservatory and the beautiful flowers.

One of our favorite spots in Costa Rica, we began and ended our stay with hikes in this park. Make sure to hike trails on both sides of the freeway.
