This landmark was in a park near the heart of downtown San Jose. We enjoyed strolling through the park and taking photos of this "temple" (as it's called in Costa Rica).

Sort of the San Jose version of NYC's Washington Square, you can often catch some local music and gathering of hipsters, skateboarders, and such. Although in an area that could be considered "sketchy", I was fine eating my lunch and checking out the local color....More

This Temple is located within Parque Morazan which is quite central within San Jose city limit. You won't miss it if you are at the Holiday Inn Hotel tower.

It is nothing to make a special trip for, but it was part of our Free Tour. It is a small platform with a roof.

Even during my visit I saw young people doing some dancing under the dome of the Temple of music. The temple is the main accent of a small Parque Morazan which itself makes one of the line of small greens interrupted by streets. Could be...More

This temple - more like a band stand - is in the middle of a park. Unfortunately it’s riddled with graffiti - another sorry tale for San José. There were security guards hoovering around - I guess to help further vandalism. It’s a pity.
