A bit disappointed from the parks of San Jose’! Costa Rica is so lush that I was expecting the parks to be rich and lush and full of “jungle” green! Not the case really! Unfortunately not what I was expecting so obviously a bit disappointed.

This park is smack bang in the centre of San Jose and thus there is plenty to do in the immediate area. The park is aesthetic and clean and there is lots going on. It is a great place to enjoy lunch and rest weary...More

This small park is by far the most interesting of the many green spots of San Jose. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the pieces fine art are worth the detour. Especially, we loved the brand new sculpture, Nuevo Paradigma, showing three men rising from...More

Went here everyday while we stayed at the Holiday Inn Aurola, 5 minute walk. There are parks right by the hotel but this one is the nicest.

Some of the San Jose park areas are covered by paving slabs, so this one is great to have grass. The sculptures are fun too and the koi pond adds further interest.

A cute little park in the middle of the city. On one side is the National Library (Biblioteca Nacional) and on the other corner is the Supreme Court with the Plaza de la Libertad Electoral where each newly elected president stands. The park itself has...More
