I don't know how to describe the horrid piece of junk in the middle of this area...it is just too ugly for words...but it attracts many tourists and is always busy...

Absolutely not worth a visit. We walked past and around it - messy, nothing really worth seeing, and plenty of weird folks around the square.

This park is located in the heart of San Jose, GREAT spot for people watching, shopping, lunch and taking photos.

This is a busy little park in San Jose. The Metropolitan Cathedral is located right next to it so it's worth checking out if you're in the area.

We stopped on a week-end. Local bands took turn playing music: from opera, choir to rock, salsa. Fun places and meeting points of the locals after church.

This is a nice green space in the midst of the city, places to stop & rest, good for people watching & some birds, too.

On my visit I found the park to be a bit grotty and run down, Certainly not a place I would advise any tourist to be after dark. It is leafy and shaded but not exactly welcoming. I passed through it on a few occasions...More

The Park is undergoing renovation and the central structure is covered with plastic sheets. But the atmosphere in the park is electric with people playing instruments, skating, mothers with strollers and babies enjoying moments of freedom. Definitely recommended to spend some time here.
