This is a nice attraction considering there is no natural jade in Costa Rica. Beautiful displays and a good cafeteria.

If you are on a short trip to San Jose, at least add it to the list to walk by it. The design is super modern

We spent several hours at this hotel. It's well done with good exhibits and lots of information. There are several floors to explore.

The Jade museum has a beautiful collection of objects that gives an insight to the culture of the region. The museography and narrative of the exhibit are very professional.

Mainly pre Colombian artifacts. Of course there was some jade stuff. If you are interested in artifacts, you might enjoy it.

This museum is packed full of four floors of Costa Rican history as shown through its jewelry, burial customs, dress and practices. We learned a lot about the early history of the native population.

I had no idea how important jade was to the indigenous people. The museum set exhibits in a historical and cultural perspective. The information on the Shamans was interesting. The exhibits on women's roles was good. They also have an extensive collection of pottery.

Yes you may. They have a very small souvenir shop. I found the prices to be a bit high, but that seems to be standard at museums.
