The place was gorgeous. And the horses were not only beautiful, but friendly as well. The tour guide , Marcus, provided us with fresh fruit that he grew himself. And his assistant accompanied us the whole way, on foot, to make sure everything was going well with the horses.

The horseback tour is truly is a spectacular experience! The property is easy to get to by taxi (about a 25 minute drive from Manuel Antonio/Quepos for about $25 each way). Markus is so kind and knowlegeable and makes you feel comfortable on the horses. His property is stunning and well-maintained, and there are some gorgeous surprises along the way! The horses were so beautiful and well-behaved. The three hours flew by! Would do it again in a heartbeat, so wonderful! :)

What a fun adventure. A perfect mix of riding, hiking and swimming! Markus is very knowledgeable and shared lots of fun jungle tidbits. He also made sure were safe and comfortable with everything as we went along. Private transportation to and from our home was a huge help. Would definitely do it again!

Fantastic horseback tour in Markus property !
It was amazing, we did go to waterfalls that are actually in Markus' property, so we were just alone in the nature !
We did try new trails, and horses are so nice and cool ! We would definatly recomment that "promenade dans la nature".
THANK YOU VERY MUCH

We had an incredible experience with Markus on this horseback journey. Markus was a wonderful guide and his property is absolutely stunning. His horses are well trained and easy to ride. I would highly recommend this as a way to see the beauty of the Costa Rica jungle as well as amazing views of the Pacific Ocean. All in all, this was a perfect half day trip and a great value for the cost. Even the opportunity presented itself, I would not hesitate to do it again. Thank you Markus!

We booked the self guided hiking tour.
Markus, the host and owner of the hacienda explained us where to walk and gave us a map, though all paths are clearly marked.
My husband and I had a wonderful hike through rainforest, we saw a monkey family which Markus explained to us later were "Mono Titis", the local name for squirrel monkeys. We stoped and rested in the shade at the lookouts, with amazing views.
Another highlight was the swim stop in the river with pristine water, deep natural pools, lying on the back and looking up into the rainforest canopy.
Highly recommended.

My husband and I along with our dog spent two fantastic nights here ! Markus is a wonderful host who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and is also a fantastic cook. Our breakfasts and dinners were all very tasty.
The view from our studio was so beautiful especially in the early morning.
The large swimming pool was refreshing especially after long hikes. The sunset hike looking out to the pacific is a must ! Absolutely beautiful.
We also enjoyed a nice horseback
ride.
We will definitely return !

We had a great time riding the horses with Markus, and his assistant was super helpful along the way. You can tell he really cares about all of his animals with the way he talks about his horses and treats them, in addition to his cute dogs that joined us for the ride to the river and walked alongside us. We had so much fun playing fetch with the dogs and relaxing in the cool water after the first half of our ride. We even rode through a beautiful new waterfall trail which made the experience even more stunning! To top it off, Markus prepared us one of the best lunches we had during our stay in Costa Rica. Would definitely recommend this tour!

What an impressive horse back-riding tour in the lush jungle of Hacienda Mil Bellezas! The horses were really sweet and took us up to a beautiful viewpoint and back around to a river with natural pools where we had plenty of time for a refreshing swim with impressive scenery. This is a perfect and tranquil place to spend multiple days or more soaking up the beauty of Costa Rica's jungle scenes.

We stayed at Espadilla gardens, which were a few 100 yards from the park and the ocean, took a guided tour of the park, did a catamaran trip at sun set, snorkeling, caught a blue marlin, 3 sail fish, 15 dorado's and 2 tuna, ate at the airplane and had the hotel could some of our fish for us.
