A well organized program for beginners. Our 2 elementary aged kids loved it, they both we are to stand up after just a few tries. The waves were mild, equipment included foam composite surfboards and boogie boards, great for beginners. Seasoned surfers will find the break here a bit too tame and the equipment too basic, but it was perfect... More

A group of friends wanted to go to the beach to give surfing a try. Dante picked us up from our hotel. He and his instructors were such nice people. It was our first time surfing and they were all very helpful and patient with us. Dante allowed us to use surfboards, boogie boards, paddle boards and anything else he... More

We took our 9 year old daughter to Dante's to learn how to surf and boy are we happy we did! She loved it! The teachers are full of life, personality, and fun. She loved the experience, can't wait to do it again, and we were delighted with the incredible level of service and attention. This is a world class... More

We wanted to learn how to surf and have some fun while in Manuel Antonio. Dante's was recommended by the hotel and scored high on TripAdvisor so it was an easy choice. They didn't let us down and gave us a fantastic morning with pretty big waves and super clear instructions. The crew helped us all the way out there... More

We were looking for something to do on a rainy morning, Dante and his team made our day! We had surf lessons and some more fun with the boogie boards. Staff is amazing, very professional, we always felt very safe and after a few tries we managed to stand on the boards ;) Then we went to the national park,... More

I was recommended to Dante's water sport by the expedition company I traveled with for a last minute change. My experience was great and I enjoyed it a lot. Dante himself came to pick me up from my hotel at the exact time they had mentioned. Once i was there at the beach, I was introduced to the instructor, Alejandro,... More

The highlight of our week in Costa Rica, with all of the amazing scenery and wildlife and delicious food and beautiful beaches, was probably the kindness and hospitality of the Costa Rican people! Alejandro and his friends treated us like royalty! No, actually they treated us like family! My teenage daughters had a great time surfing, we kayaked in the... More

I highly recommend taking surf lessons when visiting Costa Rica. Donte's water sports was reasonably priced and had us catching waves in no time! Our instructor, Alejandro was the best! He made us feel so comfortable and more importantly safe! They provided us with wet shirts, water, fresh fruit, and beach chairs with umbrellas. They also have a photographer to capture... More

Dante's Water Sports was great! I have never surfed before but Alejandro had us catching waves in no time, he was the best instructor. The entire staff was incredible and made us feel comfortable. Being in another country where english is not the primary language you would think a lot would be lost in translation but Alejandro's english was great,... More

Dante, his wife Rachel and his team were absolutely amazing! First things first, me and my husband were new to surfing but Dante had us both up and catching waves in no time! It was such a great workout and when we came in for a break they had pineapple and water waiting for us. After catching our last big... More
