If you want to experience all the various species of animals and plants that inhabit the park , then you will need a trained guide. The trail is dense and you will easily miss the sloths hanging high up in the trees. Their movements are shared between the guides and the park rangers along with the other animals found in... More

A guided tour is a must as there is so much to see but easy to miss. We had Pablo as a guide and he was exceptional. A few things we would have never found on our own included an adult bat w/ a baby, a nursing monkey, sloths, agouti, racoon, coate, and a number of birds. We also saw... More

I have done several nature tours in the Quepos / Manuel Antonio area, and this one was my least favorite. I will say at the outset that our guide, Edgar, was extremely knowledgeable, courteous and professional. I would highly recommend him. My concerns were with the structure of the tour itself. It says it's a half day, but we were... More

Edgar met us at the airplane restaurant and we followed him into Manuel Antonio National Park. What a wonderful experience! Edgar is very educated on the flora and fauna of this beautiful part of Costa Rica. He was kind, funny, knowledgeable and had a great eye for locating the various creatures of this lovely park. He took charge, thankfully!, of... More

Pablo is the best guide in the park. He will find you all of the best animals while having a fun time. If you like to laugh Pablo will have you cracking up. He is beyond personable! Was the best excursion for our entire group of 10.

My husband, two sons (9 and 11), and I went to Manuel Antonio National Park a couple weeks ago. We were staying at Jungle Creek Villas and the owner, Paula, set us up with Paul Gonsalves. We followed him in our own car to the park because we wanted to stay after the tour was complete. Right away Paul was... More

Our experience with Juan (and all of his guides, drivers, and staff) was AMAZING! Elliot with Costa Rica Custom Trips.com planned our whole trip (10 days traveling around Costa Rica) and he set us up with Juan and Manuel Antonio Expeditions for the days we were in the Puntarenas Province. They were prompt and on time for our pick ups... More

Our family enjoyed our visit to the national park. we saw a sloth with baby and white faced monkies and raccoons. We spoke to someone who was a guide at another park. He said that people continue to feed the monikies and that there now are many fewer monkies there and elsewhere. He also said that feeding a pregnant monkey... More

Juan Brenes, owner of Manuel Antonio Expeditions, gave us an excellent, informative tour of Manuel Antonio Park. He used a spotting scope and found many animals and insects that we would never have seen and then made photos on our iPhone through the scope! Thrilling. A great value for the service, convenience and care you will receive. Juan also provided... More

My three friends and I booked a guided nature walk through Manuel Antonio National Park through Hostel Vista Serena. The walk started at 830ish and ended around 11-1130am. I am so glad we booked a guide for this national park as we would not have seen 85% of the wildlife otherwise! Our guide was Henry and he had a telescope... More
