Fantastic experience with Andrws! He is so passionate, and he knows everything about Tortuguero. Thanks to him, I could spot so many special animals! I'm really glat I had the tour with him. Pura vida!

Andrew is a really nice guy with great knowledge of Costa Rica's nature. It was a wonderful, relaxing ride with him through the national park and he showed us many different animals. Definitely recommended

We did the guide tour and the night walk with Andrew. We spotted many animals and Andrew knew how to tell us a lot about nature and the animals. He also shared information about the village of tortuguero which was very interesting (he grew up there). The night tour was fun. We saw the red eye frog and snakes. Andrew was super enthusiastic about everything and that totally made our day. We would recommend Andrew to anyone!

We did a night tour and morning canoe tour and both were amazing!!!! We saw so much wildlife, more than with other guides i think after talking to others. Andrws was so friendly, informative and enthusiastic we loved it! Would 100% recommend 😊

We had an amazing tour with Andrws and can really recommend it to everyone!
We booked a canoe tour and the night walk and had both of them alone with him (we were 4 persons). It’s important for him to be a smaller group so everyone can have the same experience and doesn’t miss out on anything. He knows a lot about the animals we saw and was excited as we were to see them. He combined it with small anecdotes which made you remember the facts even more. You could notice that he loves his job and sharing his past experiences and knowledge. He was funny, friendly and a great guy to talk to. Not only about nature but about life in Costa Rica. Overall it was a very funny and interesting Tour, we couldn’t be happier!

Was lucky to have Andrew as my tour guide for my tours in Tortuguero.
Andrew is super nice and friendly. He was passionate to make sure we make the most of the tour and see plenty of animals. He's explanations were prefect for us, informative but not too lengthy and was happy to answer our questions and encouraged us to try and tell different species using his books.
The first tour I did with him was the night tour which was stunning with tons of sightings and had a great vibe to it. We were a small group of 3 so it felt really personal and nice.
I enjoyed the night tour so much I asked the booking office to also book Andrew for the next day Canoeing Tour. Again it was a great experience, we were a small group of 4 this time and Andrew made sure each got good sightings and heard his explanations despite the challenging of guiding while paddling a canoe.
I highly recommend Andrew and his tours!!

We had a night tour with Andrws and it was amazing! He has a keen eye for every animal in the forest and an absolutely enormous pool of knowledge about flora and fauna. Singe I really wanted to see an armadillo, he put extra effort to find them and in the end succeeded! Other animals we found were porcupines, leaf insects, bullfrogs, two species of snakes, a sloth and many more. Definitely recommended!

Excellent tour guide, wonderful knowledge of the history of tortuguero, but not overwhelming. We saw three camen, and various herons, howler monkeys and a turtle and it wasn’t even turtle season! Would strongly recommend. A polite, kind, helpful and generous host.

We initially had to do the tour of channels with Andrews at 6.30 am but because of the weather forecasts and the fact that there were more and more people early in the morning on the channels of Tortuguero, Andrews offered us to postpone it a 9.30 am. We were so lucky to stay with him and Mickaël for 3 hours as it was shinny during our trip and we do recommend to go on channels with Andrews. He can spot a lot of animals, he knows a lot about history of the place and a lot about different species including trees. We were only 2 and it was great to navigate through channels and sometimes very tiny ones, with no sound of motor around, only listening the calmness of the nature. We really enjoyed this activity as we could spot a lot of different animals (birds, reptiles (iguanas, basilics, caimans, fishes) and we absolutely loved that Andrews was as much excited than us while being amazed by the nature. It was really a great moment!

It was a wonderful experience. Andrws is a local and has a lot of knowledge about the area and the animals. He is very friendly, funny and takes time for you. We had a really nice tour where we saw a lot of animals like the red-eyed frog and multiple sloths!
