A nice tropical beach with the usual coconut palms and Indian almonds.just spoilt by the old construction rubble along its edge.they need to get some trucks and clean it away.it would make a huge difference.

A lovely beach. We had a great time. Watch out for flying fish! We laughed as we watched three guys wade on out and all of a sudden, a bunch of tiny fish came flying out of the water and started slapping one of them!...More

Really beautiful, and a really cool Bob Marley bar, not called this but just follow the painted trees red, yellow and green. Beach is very clean and not to crowded.

This is my favorite carribean beach! The ocean is amazing, clean and warm. Sand is light yellow to white. Palm trees all over the place for great shade. I recommend to see the sunrise...your view is just breathtaking

Great natural pools between the corals, great spot for kids to have some safe time as well. Close from everything!

We ended up going to Manzanillo which was the best beach in the area. I would go there again next year.

It's a very nice beach on the atlantic coast. Beaches, weather and the sea movements are different from the pacific. When we went we had a great time and the weather was very nice. In some parts the sand has tiny tiny shells in red,...More

Don't just go to the beach there in Puerto Viejo, drive on down TOWARD Manzanillo and stop in Punta Uva, you will be thrilled with the long, beautiful stretch of clean beaches and deep blue water!

My suggestion is to stay in Puerto Viejo, since Manzanillo is about 20 minutes driving from there and you can easily move up and down the coast. I suggest you to book a guide as well, because Manzanillo park is not that easy... More
