The plants are huge! On the walk to the waterfall there is an enormous tree where you can have your photo taken practically inside it. Don't be dismayed by the 300 stairs on the Trail of the Giants on the way to the waterfall. They are not that bad as you go both up and down to reach the waterfall.... More

We did 11 zip lines. Helpers were all nice and congenial. The area wasn't that pretty and we didn't see any wildlife.

You will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere (and you probably are). The ride from Limon to Veragua is an interesting introduction to the people and culture of the region - from the huge banana shipping operations, to the tiny open-air cinderblock schools. Tour guide Fran , on bus, was Fabulous! Zip line was Great! Family fun ages 9-85! Safety was definetly #1 concern, but fun never not comprised :) ALL the guys on zipline were helpful and so friendly. Only negative was that our tour did not include any other aspects of the park. Beautiful area.
