A nice beach, should have some amenities such as chairs and umbrella's rental (only 1 rental spot) No public bath rooms. The horses on the beach are beautiful but no one is cleaning up after them. A 5 miles to the south is a beautiful...More

Nice wide beach with gentle waves great for young families. That's where the charm ended (maybe we were spoiled since we were staying in Playa Carrillo). Watch the dog and horse manure plus cigarette butts and trash from rude tourists. It was beautiful, I'll agree...More

Samara is a great beach from small town that offers great food and accommodation at reasonable prices. Never have felt more safe outside of are own country Canada.

Don't go to this beach, you will never want to leave! It's perfect for swimming, sun bathing and taking long walks on the packed sand during low tide. If you are an experienced surfer or looking for drugs and partying, go somewhere else. This is...More

This beach does not compare to the natural beauty of nearby Playa Carillo, but is less populated. There are no amenities like seats and tables, and no parking nearby our hotel but it has a great sunset. Wild horses grazed by us at one point.

We stayed at a hotel on Samara beach for 6 nights, and we couldn't have asked for a better beach. It's quiet, with calm surf - the beach itself it's sloping so it makes it easy to get in and out of the water.

Thank Lauren D

It isn't really a party town. More family oriented with primarily restaurants, not pubs so much.

We used Samara Adventure Co for a dolphin/snorkelling tour. It was excellent. The Samara Info Center has many more activities to do in and around Samara. Enjoy!
