She thoughtfully chose horses she felt would be a good fit for our beginner riding level. After giving us a few safety pointers, we headed out! It was a glorious morning for a ride, and Nicole was full of interesting facts about the beaches, specific trees, and other things that were random and fun! We rode to Playa Conchal and back and it was a truly magical experience 😍 Nicole loves her horses and they are clearly well cared for (which, sadly, is not always the case in Costa Rica). Communication with the owner, Nicole, was great both via e-mail and then on WhatsApp once in Costa Rica. I was clear that we are experienced riders and we were looking to fulfill a dream of cantering down the beach. And we did just that, multiple times. It was so amazing. Gustavo, our guide, embodied the spirit of pura vida and we really enjoyed his company. Thank you Pacific Horses for a great experience!We are truly absolutely happy that you could fill your bucket list and fulfill a dream. My family and I booked a 1 1/2 riding tour with Nicole at Pacific Horses and all of us had a great time!! It was a wonderful private, ride on a number of beautiful, local beaches near Brasalito - a short trip from Tamarindo. The horses were clearly well taken care of and easy to handle for even us beginners. At the same time, my daughter who is a good rider was given a chance to gallop along the beach. We would definitely go with Nicole again!!

The sunset ride with Laeti tonight was one of the highlights of my children and my life! I have been riding since I was 3 years old and worked at a Dude Ranch in Colorado for a summer that had 93 horses. To be able to freely ride on such trained and beautiful horses was magical. My teenage daughter even expressed that "Laeti was one of the most friendliest people she has ever met." As a mother seeing my two kids' faces elated to such a level was beyond incredible. This was one of the highlights from our trip to Costa Rica! I wanted to plan something special for my wife's birthday and Nicole from Pacific Horses made that happen. She helped me plan the trip and gave very detailed driving instructions along with videos to make sure we found the spot OK, she followed up every step of the way. When we arrived, Laetitia was there waiting for us with our lovely horses Linda for my wife and Primavera for me. Laetitia was a wonderful, friendly, and informative guide, she helped us get to know our horses and took us on a fantastic tour along the beaches and into the jungle where we were able to see monkeys in trees. The horses were very well cared for and a pleasure to ride. My wife used to own and show horses and she vouched that these animals were very well trained and taken care of. Laetitia took several great photos of us to document this wonderful and scenic tour. I had researched several tour companies before our trip and this one was top notch, highly recommend if you want a great horseback riding experience along a scenic beach area!

Our family of 4 greatly enjoyed our horseback riding experience with Pacific Horses. Great communication during the booking process. The horses were rode were calm and not phased or skittish. I'm not an expert by any means, but the horses seemed well cared for.

Nicole is wonderful , I met her two years ago I rode twice last year she took me on amazing trails.
She is great with the horses. Great with me,! This year we rode for almost two hours my horse was Palomo he was so gentle we went into a trot then a gallop it was wonderful! We went to the ocean through trails it was beautiful!

Everything was perfect! Nicole went above and beyond to create a beautiful gift certificate as a Christmas present for us from our daughter. Once we arrived to Costa Rica, booking was easy. Nicole communicated promptly and was so friendly! It’s obvious Nicole is passionate about sharing her love of horses. The horses are gentle and well taken care of. Jorge, our guide made the experience comfortable and so enjoyable! We saw monkeys right above us in the trees. The trail through the woods is beautiful and nothing compares to a sunset ride on the beach!

Best horse back riding experience in the Flamingo, Conchal, Brasilito area. We are a family of five ranging from beginner to advanced. They matched the horses and riders excellently. Both guides took us along the beautiful beaches and through the woods. We saw stingrays and fish in the water and Howler monkeys in the trees. Both guides proactively took numerous photos and videos of us along the way. Both guides were knowledgeable about the area. The horses were very well loved and cared for. Bring 2000 colones to tip the lady to watch over your car and of course tip your guides for the outstanding service that they provide. Wear pants, sneakers, hat, sunglasses and plenty of sunscreen.

We had an absolutely incredible and unforgettable horse riding experience with Pacific Horses. My 20 year old granddaughter from the U.S. visited me here in Costa Rica for eight days. We engaged in some activity every day but this was her favorite experience and the highlight of her visit.
Nicole was helpful to us in every way. She checked in with us many times before our ride to make sure everything was okay. She sent clear directions and checked with us afterwards as well.
Our guide Laeticia was wonderful. We were able to gallop several times as fast as we could go on the beach. I recommend doing the three hour trip if you can.

Our group of seven had a great two hour ride today with Orlando. A gorgeous beach, cool shade trees and seven nice calm horses. The guides were great and the scenery was to perfect. I highly recommend you give Pacific Horses a try. Even our first timers enjoyed themselves after a brief instruction from Orlando. Thanks for a great day.
