We went in low season, and on a few of the days, we were one of a handful of people on the beach...what a treat. Took our cooler, beach umbrella, and towels and lazed the days away. The water is nice, not too many waves...More

The beach here is a beautiful spot to enjoy the surf and sand of the Pacific. Somewhat secluded yet close to ammenities, It's the perfect spot to enjoy a few hours of fun and then head to nearby Samara for lunch and shopping.

This is a wonderful beach for picnics, swimming and beach walks. Unfortunately it lacks basic facilities like toilets, garbage cans and a place to eat or drink. Many good spots to hang your hammock.

This is by far my favourite beach that I have been on. White sand beaches, large waves to play in. I love the row of palm trees that provide shade, as we can't be in the hot Costa Rica sun for too long. Bring a...More

We've been going in the mornings before the major heat of the day. Bring a hammock and hang in the shade- the beach stays mostly quiet because people are set up in the line of Palm trees.
