We bought a package from an Adventure company located in La Fortuna including entrance, transportation, and guide. It was expensive and I knew it would be much more reasonable if we just took a taxi there, but was assured the guide was a very experienced...More

Great Day to visit the bridges...sun was out. Saw two red frogs (blue jeans dart frog); two pit vibes snakes, monkeys, birds, waterfalls and the volcanoes. The park trail is very nice, clean, well maintained. Enjoyable experience.

For a family of 4, we paid $78 (three adults and one child under 10 years). We walked slowly and scoured the forest for 2 hours and didn't see a single animal.... No frogs, no sloths, no monkeys, nothing. Total disappointment. The self-guided walk is...More

The Hanging Bridges was included in our tour. If you just want a (relatively) easy walk through Cloud Forest then this is something worth considering. If you want to feel that you are in virgin territory then perhaps give it a miss. To get the...More

Amazing tour to see the rainforest naturally and safely across the bridges. Marcos was our tour guide and he is full of knowledge about the area! We learned so much! The rafting in the afternoon made the tour the perfect combination of adventure and knowledge....More

Incredible experience, you can see a lot of fauna in their own place! Very exciting! We can see monkeys, slots, butterflies, etcetera. Really near from hotels complex and Arenal National Parks. Posibility to make arrangements in other kind of tour via frontdesk staff.

The hike was awesome, even in the rain. Be sure to bring a poncho. You are sure to get wet. We saw lots of critters.

yes!! everything is very safe!!
Are there multiple bridges or just one? Is it on the path toward the Arenal Volcano, or is that in a different part of the park? Is the bridge easy to find alone on a self-guided tour?

There are several hanging bridges and several fixed bridges. It is a straight forward route and maps are available but you won't get lost without one. I recommend a guide to highlight wildlife you might miss and other... More
If we come on our own without a tour company can we hire a tour guide at the entrance and what is the charge?
